Today I am sharing a very fun project that is quick, easy, and inexpensive!
My grandma had received a beautiful floral arrangement in the most adorable little basket and asked if I would be willing to use that basket to create an arrangement (that wouldn't wilt and turn brown...) for her home.
Yeah, I will! (And actually, I'll make four!)
I thought it'd be a fun project to create four individual arrangements that can be changed out with the seasons.
This is what I came up with!
I purchased all of my supplies from Hobby Lobby. The floral stems were 50% off (which happens about every other week - so never buy full price flowers!)
I used two foam blocks (cut in half, one for each season) to insert the stems into. Like I said, my grandma already had the basket so I just had to find the right sized foam to use and get started! (TIP: Make sure the foam can easily be removed from the holder so you can easily change the arrangement)
Start cutting! A lot of the floral stems are very large, so they need to be trimmed to fit the size of the vase, basket, or whatever will be holding them.
Do your thing! Start putting the stems into the foam and arranging the flowers just the way you like them! I am no florist, so I don't even know if the flowers I used are in season! But I liked the way they looked together, and I'm so happy with how they turned out!
